It is little more than nine months since the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the arrival of a new virus a global emergency. And our worlds have been shaken! So the question is, Are you strong enough to win this battle?
If we take the planet as a whole, the picture is looking rough. While this is a single pandemic, it is not one single story. The impact of Covid-19 is different around the world and it is easy to blind ourselves to the reality beyond your own country. There is one fact that unites us all, this is a virus that thrives on close human contact. The more we come together, the easier it will spread.
So how to we arm ourselves to win this battle?
As a seasoned fitness and wellness specialist, I have spent most of my life searching for ways to keep my body strong, fit, and healthy inside and out. I believe that this nasty virus has given me the opportunity to share what I have learned in hope of helping you in your battle.

The first thing I like to focus on is nutrition. Unfortunately for us and generations to come, the soil used to farm our foods, will never be as nutrient rich as it was for our parents and their parents. The soil isn't allow to lie fallow long enough to get enriched naturally. So instead, chemicals, pesticides and other unhealthy products are used in hope to be able to grow more hardier crops. SO... what goes into our soil, goes into our food and eventually into our bodies! You've heard the saying, "You are what you eat." A penny for your thoughts???
2. Second focus is always on moving more. Our bodies were created to move and perform the functions we need it to every day. Why do we take better care of our cars than we do our bodies? We have a car, keep it tuned up, full of gas and ready to perform when we need it. Just wondering, why do we feel our bodies can function on their own with out any "maintenance". Do you use high test fuel in your body or plain old regular gas? Do you change take your body out for a long drive to blow out all that pent up _____ like you do with your car?
My advice is to take better care of your body by keeping it in tip top shape by moving everyday! Take a walk, around the block is a good place to start but increase the distance and stretch your self so that that walk becomes more challenging each time you go out. Not sure where to start,
